The Board of the International Federation of Psoriasis Associations (IFPA) is pleased to announce the recruitment of Frida Dunger Johnsson as the new Executive Director, working from our headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden. Frida will bring a commitment to social justice and sustainability to her work advocating for millions of people living with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis worldwide.
“It is an important opportunity to challenge stigma and spread awareness. We can improve conditions for people living with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.”
Today Frida works as the Secretary General for the non-profit organization Emmaus Stockholm while also serving on the Board of Forum Civ and ActionAid. She holds a Master in International Development Studies and Cultural Encounters and has earlier worked as CEO for a management consultant firm. Frida has previous experience from business development and sales, as well as in EU level research regarding health and minority. This background will serve her well as she joins IFPA to build partnerships with civil society and corporate stakeholders.
“I thrive in highly professional environments where it is important to collaborate with non-profit organisations, academia and the private sector. It is a very important assignment to connect members and partners for national, regional and global impact.”
This news follows the departure of Patrik Vuorio, IFPA’s former Executive Director, whose tenure grew IFPA’s operational capacity. Frida Dunger Johnsson will assume her new post on November 2nd.
