Living with psoriatic disease brings its own set of challenges, both physically and emotionally. The journey of managing this condition involves navigating through treatments, societal stigmas, and accessing timely care. Recognizing these hurdles, Europso has embarked on a mission to create a podcast tailored specifically for people with psoriatic disease and their families.
In the recent episode, IFPA's Policy and Advocacy Manager, Elisa Martini, leads the conversation alongside Ilse Van Ee from Psoriasispatiënten Nederland and Jelena Misita from Europso. Together, they shed light on the importance of timely care in managing psoriatic disease, especially considering the recently published call to action from the "Epicensus" program.
Beyond discussing challenges, the episode also offered practical strategies for individuals to advocate for themselves and others within the psoriatic community. From raising awareness to engaging with healthcare providers and participating in advocacy campaigns, listeners were encouraged to play an active role in driving positive change.
Join the conversation, spread the word, and together, let's empower our community to thrive in the face of psoriasis. Tune in now and let your voice be heard!
