Youth with psoriasis in focus

Young adulthood is a time of growth, identity, and big life decisions. Yet nearly one-third of people with psoriasis develop the disease before age 18, and its impact often extends into adulthood. World Psoriasis Day 2026 gives young people a platform to share their stories, challenge stigma, and speak openly about life with psoriasis. Under the theme “Look Beyond My Skin,” this year’s campaign calls for greater understanding—recognizing the person behind the disease, listening to their experiences, and embracing them for who they are.
