28 January 2022

By Gladis Lima

Psoriasis Brazil organized its 1st free and online International Forum aimed at patients, families, doctors, medical students and health professionals in celebration of World Psoriasis Day 2021. Our event was to provide quality information to those who treat the disease or professionals and experts who want to catch up.

And bring quality information about existing public policies in Brazil and bills aimed at improving the condition of patients with psoriatic disease, and, consequently, better quality of life and knowledge about their rights.

OCTOBER is World Psoriasis Day month (29/10) and we at Psoriasis Brazil carry out an awareness campaign about the disease, existing treatments and the importance of correct diagnosis.

This year we will present the achievements achieved in public policies for therapies offered by the Unified Health System (SUS) and the great novelty of the incorporation of biological medicines by private health plans.

We have much to celebrate with the existence of effective treatments and, above all, with patients' access to therapies. Also, mark your calendar: October 30th (Saturday) we will hold two free online events, one for doctors (10 am to 12 pm) and another for patients (2 pm to 4 pm).

Stay tuned to our channels and participate! The patient is a fundamental part of the treatment, always remember his role as a protagonist in the control of the disease.
