The course “Psoriasis: understanding, diagnosing, and Managing this chronic condition”, a collaboration between IFPA and the International Psoriasis Council (IPC) with the World Health Organization (WHO) is now available for enrollment on the OpenWHO platform.
OpenWHO is an online learning platform developed by the WHO, providing free open-access courses addressing a wide range of public health topics.
The platform services frontline responders, health workers, policymakers and anyone who is interested in learning about public health (1).
The platform counted 7 million enrolments by August 2022 (2).
The course on psoriasis is intended for everyone who wants to learn about psoriasis, its comorbidities, management, and burden on individuals and health systems. The content has been developed by experts in psoriasis from the International Psoriasis Council and patient advocates from IFPA.
“Thanks to it being hosted on an official platform developed by the World Health Organization, the course will reach all areas of the world and be beneficial to healthcare professionals and people living with the disease worldwide” says Elisa Martini, Policy and Advocacy Manager at IFPA and one of the course developers.
The course is available on the OpenWHO platform.
