World Psoriasis Day 2021 - China

We are delighted and honored to present to you, for the first time as a member state, our psoriasis awareness campaign across China during World Psoriasis Day in October 2021.

First of all, since 2017, as the only patient-based organizer, we have co-hosted the Chinese Psoriasis Congress (CPC) for five consecutive years and organized free diagnosis services for patients by dermatologists. Due to the epidemic situation, we have paralleled of online and offline activities in the past two years (see the attached illustration for details).

During the World Psoriasis Day, we also helped to hold the survey on the happiness index of Chinese psoriasis patients and the relevant press conference (see attached photos and videos), as well as the Humanistic Forum of The Chinese Psoriasis Congress and Patient Body Painting event named Beautiful New Life, we invited 6 psoriasis patients in our group to show their clean skin and new life in a creative and compelling way ， which aimed to give hope and confidence to a wider range of patients enable them to embrace the new era (see attached photo and video).At the same time, in response to IFPA's initiative, we organized our fellow patients to initiate a signature collecting on the website with marks of Mutual Assistance of Psoriasis Patients Website (China) or China.

We will always implement the purpose of IFPA's concern and care for psoriasis patients, and fully express the five appeals elaborated by IFPA to the society through our current resources. We will also continue to express the unmet treatment needs of Chinese psoriasis patients, as well as the accessibility of drugs and medical treatment. help to standardize the diagnosis, treatment and reduce the burden of patients. We will exert the strength of the organization with greater efforts and a sense of mission to the patient group, unite all the social resources that may affect this group, and make unremitting efforts to improve the medical environment and improve the quality of life of nearly ten million psoriasis patients in China!
