Rwanda: Hidden dangers of untreated psoriasis17 November 2021

In the summer of 2021, IFPA and Amgen issued a call for actionable solutions to address a challenge that people living with psoriatic disease and healthcare providers continue to face. Today, we are pleased to announce that Bath Institute for Rheumatic Diseases (BIRD) – UK has been selected by the UPLIFT Innovation Challenge judging panel to receive a $25,000 USD grant to implement their solution, “Digital Engagement for PsA Patients and Families”.
BIRD's digital engagement platform was selected out of 22 innovative applications submitted by psoriatic disease patient organizations around the world. Through interactive webinars and podcasts, this solution will unite patients and healthcare providers to conquer the ongoing hardships of psoriatic disease.
Recognizing the quality and innovation of the submitted applications, four additional patient organizations will also receive an honorable mention and one-time grant of $20,000 USD to implement their solutions. The honorable mentions are:
