Psoriatic disease impacts not only the individuals living with it but also their families. Raising awareness and addressing the stigma surrounding this condition is crucial for improving the well-being of those affected. It’s important to recognize the emotional, physical, and psychological challenges that family members often face as they support their loved ones.

The first step in improving family well-being is ensuring that families understand the disease. Education about psoriatic disease can help reduce misunderstandings and misconceptions. Fighting stigma is key to reducing the isolation many families experience, allowing them to seek help and support more freely. Families can also benefit from community resources and informational support networks, which provide critical information and help them connect with others who are facing similar challenges.

In response to these challenges, we have created an action plan based on feedback from interviews with family members of those living with psoriatic disease. Download our brochure on "Advocating for Family Well-being in Psoriatic Disease" now!
