IFPA Africa Action PlaybookA Roadmap for tackling psoriatic disease in Africa
4 September 2026
By IFPA
More than 3.5 million people are estimated to live with psoriasis in Africa. Across the continent, many still remain undiagnosed, untreated or without access to the care and support they need.
The Roadmap grew out of the IFPA Forum Africa, held in Nairobi, Kenya, in May 2026. The result is a unique regional advocacy document designed to turn those discussions into practical action. It sets out advocacy priorities for Africa, offers concrete strategies and examples that patient organizations and other stakeholders can use to drive change at regional and national levels.
