Amplify Action for Psoriatic Disease

IFPA Forum Roadmap: Americas

31 March 2025

By IFPA

In April 2025, stakeholders gathered in Bogotá for the IFPA Forum Americas. The Forum brought together stakeholders from the psoriatic community to promote regional action. The focus was on the Americas, but global representation gave the Forum an international perspective. Psoriatic associations, thought leaders, people living with psoriatic disease, civil society representatives, medical professionals and private sector representatives collaborated to find ways to overcome gaps, and discussed the need for new ways of working together.

The IFPA Forum has set the course, and it is now up to patient associations, other stakeholders involved in the cause and people living with psoriatic disease, in every country, to implement the learnings from the IFPA Forum.

To support national advocacy and local action, IFPA has produced the Roadmap to Improved Care in the Americas. This Roadmap provides a clear set of advocacy demands and practical strategies to guide efforts to improve psoriatic care in the Americas. These include actions for patient associations to raise awareness of the psoriatic disease burden and its impact and calls for higher prioritization of the disease within national and regional policies. By doing so, the Roadmap strives to map a path towards improved overall health and well-being for people living with psoriatic disease.
