By IFPA
As the only global organization uniting people living with psoriatic disease worldwide, IFPA is the global leader in fighting psoriatic disease. IFPA launches a new strategy to unite, strengthen, and lead diverse stakeholders towards a common goal.
Over the past 50 years, IFPA has fought to gain political support and recognition for people living with psoriatic disease. Together, we have achieved tremendous breakthroughs. Now, it is time to act. IFPA unites the global community to speak up for the unmet needs of people affected by psoriatic disease, and insist on national implementation of the recommendations set out in the WHO Global Report on Psoriasis.
A future where all people living with psoriatic disease enjoy good health and wellbeing, free from stigma and preventable disability and comorbidities.
Unite, strengthen and lead the global psoriatic disease community to improve the lives of all people affected by psoriatic disease.
"The 2021-2030 strategy is inspiring and gives a new energy to our work."
Jaime Melancia, President, PsoPortugal
IFPA has formulated five strategic goals to inform change toward a future where all people living with psoriatic disease enjoy good health and wellbeing. The interrelated goals are equally important and support each other.
IFPA’s new identity gives global flavour to our local actions.
Hoseah Waweru, President, Psoriasis Association Kenya
IFPA represents all people living with psoriatic disease, everywhere. IFPA has adopted the term ‘psoriatic disease’ to reflect our inclusive community. Psoriatic disease covers all types of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis – the full spectrum of psoriatic diseases. A more detailed definition of the term is available on IFPA’s website.
It’s super inclusive. Everybody can be involved. It will really empower IFPA and empower ourselves too.
Silvia Fernandez Barrio, AEPSO, Argentina
A revitalized organization leading a diverse, modern community calls for a powerful new branding. The identity reflects a bold, person-centered organization dedicated to amplifying the voices of everyone affected by psoriatic disease.
