It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we inform you of the passing of our President, Dr. Hoseah Waweru.

Hoseah was not only a leader but also a mentor and friend. His encouragement and support helped many of us grow in our roles and find our own voices in the fight against psoriatic disease. His wisdom and guidance were invaluable, and his ability to remain optimistic and focused, even in the face of challenges, was inspiring.

Hoseah's warmth and kindness left a mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. His sense of humor, his humility, and his unwavering belief in the power of community made him a beloved figure in our lives.

As we reflect on Hoseah's legacy, we are reminded of the values he held dear; compassion, dedication, and the relentless pursuit of a better future for all affected by psoriatic disease. His spirit will continue to guide us, and his contributions will remain a cornerstone of IFPA's ongoing mission.

Though Hoseah may no longer be with us in person, his legacy lives on in the work we do and the lives we touch. Let us honor his memory by continuing to strive for the goals he was so passionate about, and by supporting one another with the same compassion and dedication that he exemplified every day.

Hoseah, thank you for leading us, inspiring us, and showing us the way on our journey.

In this time of grief, we extend our deepest condolences to Dr. Waweru's family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones.

With heartfelt sympathy,
