Social and familial impact of psoriatic disease

The visible nature of the disease and its social stigma can lead to embarrassment and social isolation, which can negatively impact a person’s quality of life. In Asia, where family and social connections are highly valued, the impact of psoriatic disease on social and family life can be particularly pronounced.
