As Conference President and Chair of the Scientific Executive Committee, and on behalf of the Organizing Committee, I am delighted to welcome you to the 8th World Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis Conference, themed “From Burden to Breakthrough: Bridging Science, Innovation and Patient-Centered Care”.
The conference will take place on 20–22 May, 2027 at the Stockholm Waterfront Congress Centre.
This unique event brings together leading researchers, clinicians, and patient advocates from around the world. Since 2006, the IFPA Conference has convened every three years in Stockholm, Sweden, to advance the global dialogue on psoriatic disease.
In 2027, we will showcase cutting-edge clinical research and foster interdisciplinary collaboration – encompassing psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, and the related comorbid conditions – and elevate the patient perspective alongside the latest scientific discoveries.
The program is designed to connect scientific evidence with patient-centered approach and real-world impact. By sharing your science and your voice, you help shape the future of psoriatic disease care.

It is my great honor and pleasure, on behalf of the Organizing Committee, to welcome you to the 8th IFPA Conference, to be held in Stockholm, Sweden, 20–22 May 2027.
Since its inception in 2006, the IFPA Conference has been held every three years, providing a unique opportunity for scientists, researchers, healthcare professionals, educational leaders, patient experts, and advocates from around the world to come together and engage with the critical issues affecting people living with psoriatic disease.
The 8th IFPA Conference will offer a dynamic platform for delegates to exchange ideas, explore new opportunities and deepen their understanding of psoriatic disease and its associated comorbidities – all through a patient-centered lens. The theme of the 2027 Conference is “From Burden to Breakthrough: Bridging Science, Innovation and Patient-Centered Care.”
The IFPA Conference provides a unique opportunity to explore psoriatic disease from different perspectives by networking with researchers, industry representatives and patients. We invite you to participate in a wide range of multidisciplinary sessions showcasing the latest breakthroughs and innovations, aiming to improve healthcare and quality of life for people living with psoriatic disease.
I would also like to extend a warm invitation to the community at large to this unique, cross-specialty platform event, where medical and health professionals will present frontline clinical research in dermatology, rheumatology and beyond.
